ABSTRACT
Fe-MIL-88B and Fe-MIL-53 materials have been successfully synthesized by the solvothermal
method from FeCl3·6H2O combined with terephthalic acid organic linker in the presence of DMF. These
materials were characterized by a variety of modern methods including X-ray diffraction (XRD), fourier
transform infrared (FT-IR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy
(XPS) and adsorption-desorption isotherms. The XRD patterns represented that Fe-MIL-88B and FeMIL-53 had good crystalline structures. XPS result has given evidence for Fe incorporation into Fe-MIL88B and Fe-MIL-53 framework. Although Fe-MIL-88B and
